Château Cos d’Estournel, a Saint-Estèphe 2nd Grand Cru Classé, has just appointed a new general manager. Aymeric de Gironde will take his new responsibilities in February. A graduate of ESC Bordeaux Group, he has 15 years’ experience in wine and spirits, having worked for the Hennessy and Krug brands within LVMH Group, then as sales and marketing manager of Axa Millésimes from 2006. Cos d’Estournel has belonged to Michel Reybier since 2000, but had been managed by Jean Guillaume Prats since 1994.
