In order to develop a positive image of Greek wines the European Union and the Greek government are financing the launch of a new website: www.newwinesofgreece.com.
The principle of this information portal is to display an image of Greek wines with 4 grape varieties (assyrtiko, moschofilero, xinomavro and agiorgitiko) that promotes more variety than just the usual retsina. New Wines of Greece will be available in five languages: Greek, French, German, Russian and English. (VSB-Vinexpo / 29 October 2010)
