Japanese exhibitors and visitors have confirmed they will be coming to Bordeaux in the coming weeks to be at Vinexpo.
Asahi Shuzo, Choya Umeshu, Miyasaka, Daishichi, Dewasakura and Sohamare will display their sake, sparkling wines and liqueurs in Hall 3. A major sake tasting entitled “Daishichi Sake tasting: matching authentic sake with French cuisine” will feature in the “Tastings by Vinexpo” selection on Monday 20 June at 12.30 (Tasting Lab 2 – Hall 2). Amongst the Japanese visitors, Mercian, a subsidiary that specialises in wines by the brewer Kirin, Suntory Wine International, one of the Japanese market leaders, and Nippon Liquor, importer and distributor of vintage wines will be there. All Nippon Airways, one of the largest Japanese airlines and a leader in duty free distribution, and the purveyor of premium groceries DHC will also be pacing the Vinexpo aisles.
