A large number of Norwegian buyers attended Vinexpo 2009 and they are back in force in 2011.
While the number of Norwegian visitors increased significantly between 2007 and 2009, Vinexpo 2011 expects to welcome the most important operators in this wine market that is still very vibrant (wine accounts for almost 80% of the total sales of alcoholic beverages in Norway).
Vinmonopol, the state monopoly that controls the retail of wine and spirits and has 250 outlets will be present at Vinexpo, along with the leading importers on the Norwegian market, Arcus Wine Brands and Vinordia, subsidiaries of Arcus Group. Solera Beverage Group, which covers Norway, Sweden and Finland, and Haugen Gruppen, which is very active in the on-premise trade, will also attend.
