When seeking to invent its first organic liqueur, Giffard, who is a specialist in the French trade, first considered blackcurrant, but it was impossible to find enough of the fruit locally. So the brand decided to mix blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry and cherry and simply add sugar and organic alcohol.
