Six years after creating and launching its highly successful range of corks, Diam Bouchage has inaugurated its second cork processing facility in San Vicente de Alcantra in Spain. Diam’s General Manager, Dominique Tourneix claims, “Diam corks currently account for almost 10% of the world production of cork closures and nearly 6% of world production of all closure solutions”.
According to this claim, one bottle in fifteen in the world has a Diam cork. (V&S News / 26 November 2010)
