Grandes Distilleries Peureux, a company connected with La Martiniquaise Group, has taken over the Massenez distillery. Massenez is one of the leading distilleries of fruit brandies, producing fruit-based crèmes and liqueurs. It posts sales turnover of €2.5 million with 88% resulting from export sales in 110 countries.
Peureux has sales of €25 million, 60% of which are international.
