Between 2004 and 2008, spirits consumption grew by 2.6% or 8,000 9-litre cases, and is forecast in the Vinexpo / The IWSR study to increase by a further 9.4% from 2009 to 2013, despite 3.5% of negative growth in 2009 compared to 2008.
