Persyn Distillery, the only non-industrial manufacturer of juniper liqueur in France, sells 50,000 bottles per year, only 5% of which is exported.
To increase its sales, Persyn is looking closely at Singapore, a market where a spokesperson for Persyn says there are “more and more specialist wine and spirits chains looking for hand-made products, unknown niche products like juniper liqueur”. (VSB – 11 November 2011)
