The Japanese brewer and distiller Suntory, who has made whiskies since 1923, now packages its most prestigious brands Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki in presentation cases designed to mirror the high quality of these products. The cases are made of paulownia wood, which is traditionally used in Japan to make cabinets for ceremonial kimonos as well as works of art.
Each case also comes with an intricate porcelain measure. (Décision Boissons – 9 September 2011)
