Major Swiss buyers are demonstrating their interest in all the world’s wines and spirits by being present in just a few days now at Vinexpo.
The largest importers including Haecki Drink and Wine, Schenk Wine, Obrist, Bataillard AG, Scherer&Buehler AG, Vini Bée S.A., the three Swiss super- and hypermarket chains (Coop, Denner and Manor) and the largest wine stores and outlet chains (Mövenpick Wein, Weinkellereien Aarau, Rutishauser Barossa and Schuler St. Jakobskellerei) are already registered for the exhibition. Some of the big names from the Swiss wine scene will also be present at Vinexpo this year: Paolo Basso, Best Sommelier of Europe 2010 and Best Sommelier of Switzerland in 1997, and Ivan Barbic, who is preparing to be the second Master of Wine in Switzerland.
