After opening its first fine wines retail outlet there in 2010, the Chinese and Hong Kong importer and distributor company Jointek Fine Wines has just launched a second shop in Taipei. “We have also set up a small team there, which will be responsible for prospecting for customers in the hotel and restaurant trade”, added a spokesman in the Hong Kong-based headquarters. Jointek Fine Wines distributes nearly 1,000 different wines to professional customers and consumers alike through a network of almost 100 outlets in continental China, Macao and Hong Kong. Thus, with this recent opening in Taiwan, Jointek consolidates its coverage over the greater Chinese market. (V&S News – 10 June 2011)
