Vina Concha y Toro SA has announced that its acquisition of Fetzer and connected assets, which belonged to Brown-Forman Corporation in California, is finally complete. The acquisition consists of a portfolio of brands including Fetzer, Bonterra, Five Rivers, Jekel, Sanctuary and Little Black Dress, equivalent to a volume of 3.1 million cases, worth $156 million in sales in 2010. It also includes 429 hectares (1060 acres) of vineyards owned and rented in Mendocino County, California, warehouses and a 36 million-litre production capacity in Hopland, California and a further 6 million litres in Paso Robles, as well as a bottling plant.
