Importers DT Asia, owned by the French group Ballande et Meneret, has sold its distribution business to China Wines and Spirits (CWS), a company owned by another French group Halley Wines and Spirits. “Some of the DT Asia teams are also joining the new organisation”, explained Francisco Henriques, the general manager of DT Asia, who keeps his role within the new CWS structure. This acquisition strengthens CWS’s distribution business and specialist range, which includes brands such as Deutz, Delas, Schlumberger, Rocca delle Macie, Trapiche, KWV, Lillet, Massenez and Niepoort.
