Admission

Trade professionals only

Vinexpo is solely for  and associated businesses (restaurants, Duty Free, etc.) as well as journalists.

An entry badge is required to enter the exhibition.

Young people under 18 years old are not permitted to attend the exhibition. Anyone seeking admission with a child will be refused entry.

Animals are not allowed anywhere on site at the Exhibition Centre or Convention Centre.

 Appropriate business attire must be worn.

Admission to events

All guests of cocktail parties, conferences and presentations that take place inside Vinexpo must have entry badges or a Vinexpo invitation.

Obtaining entry badges

An entry badge is required to enter the exhibition.

 This can be obtained:

  • Free by any trade professional with a Vinexpo invitation
  • For €40 inclusive of VAT by all visitors without invitation cards, who can provide documentary proof of their professional activity in the wine and spirits sector.

Fees and badges are valid for all 5 days of the exhibition.

Please note: a printed e-invitation does not give you acess to the exhibition.

Preparing your visit effectively

My Vinexpo

Intuitive and effective, “My Vinexpo” enables you to plan your itinerary at the exhibition: select the exhibitors you want to meet, choose the conferences and tastings, which interest you, print a map showing your visits, your calendar of events and all the practical information you need.

The “My Vinexpo” Web App

This year, “My Vinexpo” will be available for all Smartphones. Just connect to the web app my.vinexpo.com from the end of April.  You will thus be able to find your exhibitor and event lists on your PC or your mobile and continue to prepare your visit whenever you like.

New! With its geo-location function, this web app can direct you as you travel to or from the exhibition. This cleverly designed pocket tool can really help you save time!

The Vinexpo Catalogue

This is the most comprehensive wine and spirits directory in the world containing all exhibitors and products as well as an exhibition map.

From now on, you can order the Catalogue by internet at a preferential price.
Once you are at Vinexpo, you will be able to purchase the Catalogue directly from our hostesses at the 3 exhibition entrances, but you can also collect it if you have ordered it before on line.

The Vinexpo 2013 Guide

The Vinexpo 2013 Guide is the tool you absolutely need to get the most out of your visit to the exhibition.

It is distributed free at exhibition entrances and information desks, and lists all services available at the exhibition as well as all the conferences, presentations and events organised during Vinexpo 2013.

It also contains information about the different means of transport available for travelling to the exhibition.

Air France is partnering with Vinexpo 2013 to offer a VIP service for Vinexpo passengers travelling in Business or First on AF flights.

Air France staff will welcome you at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Lyon-Saint Exupéry airports to help you with your transfer. You will be received by Air France personnel as you arrive in Bordeaux.

By train

Bordeaux is connected by rail to the main European cities and of course Paris by “TGV” high-speed train.

By car

Bordeaux is readily accessible via the French motorway network.

Getting to Vinexpo

A free shuttle service is available to provide easy travel to the Exhibition Centre (Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux-Lac) and Convention Centre (Palais des Congrès).

Arrival and departure points:

  • Shuttle 4 to city centre ("Centre-Ville"): Entrance Kof Hall 3, Entrance F of Hall 2 and Entrance V of the Convention Centre.
  • Shuttle 10 to "Les Aubiers" tram terminus: Entrance V of Convention Centre only.

Shuttles serve Vinexpo all day from Merignac Airport, Saint-Jean train station, the city centre, Les Aubiers and Mériadeck.

There is also a morning and evening transfer on the “Boulevards” and “Caudéran-Le Bouscat-Bruges” lines for exhibitors and visitors staying in bed & breakfast venues to go to the exhibition and return.

Three lines also provide a morning and night service from and to the main hotel centres in the area: Arcachon, Le Pian Médoc, Blanquefort, Eysines, Libourne, Saint-Emilion, Bègles, Pessac, Villenave d’Ornon, Saint Médard-en-Jalles and Saint Jean d’Illac.

New in 2013: a fare-paying shuttle from the Convention Centre to Quinconces Square will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, leaving at 19.30, 20.15 and 21.0. Passengers will be asked to show proof that they are entitled to enter the exhibition.

Single fare: €10 per person
3-day ticket: €25 per person
Tickets must be bought from the shuttle driver.

Please note: after 8.0 p.m. articles must be recovered in the same place the next day from 8.30 a.m.

Any unrecovered articles at the end of the exhibition will be sent back if claimed.

At these information points, you can find out everything you need and buy the complete Catalogue containing lists of all the exhibitors at Vinexpo for €35, tax included.

You can take advantage of the preferential price of €30, tax included, by ordering your catalogue now on this website and by collecting it when you arrive at the exhibition at the information points at Entrances F, K and V.

Moving around Vinexpo

Shuttles

There is a minibus service linking Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3 and the Convention Centre ("Tastings by Vinexpo" areas and conference halls).

Golf cars with drivers are also available to take you along the lakeside of Hall 1.

Floating footbridge

The floating footbridge on the lake gives easy access to the Convention Centre from the 3 exhibition halls and back.

Finding your way around Vinexpo

Our hostesses are on hand at the information desks in each hall. They can direct you and provide the information you require.

Large exhibition floor plans will also help you locate the venues that interest you.

Persons with limited mobility

Vehicles

Reserved parking at Gates F and K.

Disabled transport can enter via Gate H (H car park) and drop people off in front of Entrance K.

The shuttles running from the Exhibition Centre to the Convention Centre are fitted with disabled access.

Accessibility of amenities

All amenities, halls, stands and restaurant areas are accessible for the disabled.

Certain sectors are not however accessible to people with reduced mobility: upper floors, stands with upstairs levels, including Club du Lac, and the floating footbridge.

As an alternative for the footbridge, the shuttles which run between the Exhibition Centre and the Convention Centre are equipped with disabled access.
